Why a blog?

Because blogs save paper! The purpose of this blog is to inform others about how they can reduce their consumption and make their lives a little bit greener. We are trying to green our lives and will share our experiences and what we have learned.

Recycling


Recycling in New York has been around for more than 100 years. New York suspended glass and plastic recycling when they had budget problems in 2002. When waste goes to the landfill air can’t get in the waste. When the waste breaks in it makes harmful gasses. Oxygen makes the waste decompose.
